What is World’s Window, Inc.? World’s Window is a nonprofit organization whose efforts are focused in areas of the world where the need is the greatest. Our first project site is in Zimbabwe, Africa where the number of people struggling with HIV/AIDS, malaria, famine and poverty is among the highest on the planet.

Why are World’s Window, Inc. programs in Africa so desperately needed? There are thousands of people dying every day in Africa leaving a growing toll of orphans, estimated now to be more than a million, who need care, education and an opportunity for a better life. In addition to the HIV/AIDS crisis, famine, poverty, illiteracy and malaria are taking an immense toll. With an average household income of only $2 a day, imagine living on $730 a year, it is a daily struggle for these people to obtain food, shelter and clothing – the bare necessities of life. There is no money for soap, toothpaste, clean towels, medicine or food. Imagine using broken glass to trim your finger and toe nails. There is so very little of everything most of us take for granted every day. World’s Window is making a difference in the lives of these people and giving them hope for a better tomorrow.
